What is a day registration?

Some manufacturers register their brand-new cars for 1 day, without driving them. This can be interesting for them for a number of reasons. The most important is to allow a really good deal to be offered on a brand-new car with 0 kilometres on the clock.

The car often enters our stock only a few weeks after its first registration. This means that your car holds on to its value if you sell it a few years later.

Why is a car at Cardoen cheaper than at the dealer?

With us you will find brand new cars for a low price. That's because we don't rely on one fixed manufacturer. We have different contacts for all our brands throughout Europe and buy from the lowest priced manufacturer. We also always order several cars simultaneously, which further reduces the rate. We pass that benefit on to our customers.

In addition, Cardoen also does not spend on designer showrooms and expensive leaflets, but offers a modest showroom and plain, clear information sheets. This helps us keep our costs low and we can please our customers with the lowest priced new cars.

What does LOWEST PRICE guarantee mean at Cardoen?

We make a comparison once a week

Every week we compare our cars with identical cars in other authorised car dealerships. Are they cheaper? If so, we will immediately revise our price.

Found the same car cheaper somewhere else?

Have you found the same car at a lower price somewhere else? We will refund the difference and give you an extra discount. Find out how it all works below.

  • It must be the exact same car: the same engine, options and model.
  • Provide us with proof (= a flyer, leaflet or internet advertisement) from an official brand dealer. A handwritten document will not be accepted as proof.
  • We will immediately revise our price and give you an extra €150 discount.
  • Have you already bought your new car from us? We will refund the difference and give you an extra €150 discount, even before the delivery of your car.
What is the difference between a new and an almost-new used car?

A new car has 0 kilometres on its milometer. In other words, it has never been driven before. Most of our cars are totally new. Find out more about them here by ticking '0 km (new)' in the filters.

An almost-new used car has few kilometres on the milometer. On an average, about 15,000. In exchange you get an excellent car at a very low price. So the car is as good as new, but much cheaper.

Cardoen also gives you up to 7 years warranty on its cars. This is possible with our extended warranty and also with a service+ maintenance contract.

Does Cardoen have every brand and model in stock ?

You will find that we have more than 1,000 cars of 25 brands in stock. This means we have all the popular car brands and models in stock. Are you looking for a car we don't have as yet? What is the difference between a lease and Cardoen Lease (Comfort+)?

Private leasing

Under classic leasing, you rent a car on a long-term basis. You lease the car from a leasing company, which owns and has also paid for the car. The invoice is therefore in the name of the leasing company. The leasing company arranges for the insurance, pays the TES (Tax on Entry into Service) and has the car registered in its own name. You are a lessee and are permitted to use the car, which is the property of the leasing company. Require repairs or maintenance? The leasing company will bear the cost.

Under private leases, 99% of the cars are returned at the end of the contract. You may also buy the car, but this rarely happens. Do you still want to buy the car? Whether your contract is still running or has expired? Then the leasing company will calculate the acquisition price at the time of asking. You therefore do not know the price in advance. And then, as a lessee, you would have to have the car transferred to your name and pay TES again.

Cardoen Lease

As already explained, Cardoen Lease is not classic leasing. It is a combination of a Cardoen car loan and a Service+ maintenance contract. So you don't lease the car, but start paying it off immediately under your financing plan. This means that the invoice is in your name from the start, and you are therefore the car’s owner. The car will therefore be registered directly in your name.

The Service+ contract includes all repair and maintenance costs. You also have an extended warranty, free travel assistance, and extensive breakdown assistance. So you are only required to obtain your own fuel, insurance and to pay your annual road tax. You have 3 options when your contract ends:

  • You can choose a new car
  • You can retain your car. In that case you still pay 35% of the value.
  • You can return your car to Cardoen. You pay nothing more after that.

We also determine the exact value of your car from the very start of the contract. So no unpleasant surprises if you want to buy the car at the end. You simply pay 35% of the agreed value.

Does Cardoen always have the latest new model in stock ?

You will always find the latest car models of the most popular brands in stock with us. In different versions. So you will have an extensive choice. We order our cars from various recognised manufacturers throughout Europe. This way we can be sure of the lowest price. We also always buy several cars at the same time, which lowers the price even further. We pass that benefit on to our customers.
