Two months ago, after 17.5 years in consumer electronics, I decided to quit my job and embark on a new adventure. Electric driving has always been a big interest and when the opportunity arose to introduce the Aiways brand in Belgium, it was a step I had to take. As a true early adopter, electric cars have always been high on my list as a potential new professional challenge.

The winter has officially begun, and that means that we have to prepare ourselves for cold days and icy roads. We’re happy to share some tips so you can stay safe on a slippery road.

  1. Adjust your speed so that you can better anticipate what is happening around you. Secondly, your braking distance is a lot greater on an icy road compared to a dry one. By reducing your speed, you can prevent ending up against the rear bumper of the car in front of you.
  2. For those same reasons, it is advised to keep sufficient distance between you and the car in front.
